Over the summer, Dad Network dad, Brad Nagle, was invited to the Junior Gunners family fun day.
Here’s what he thought of the day.
On the 17th of August we were invited to join the Junior Gunners for their Family Fun Day at Paradise Wildlife Park. Arriving at the venue it was clear to see that the JG team had made a lot of effort into the aesthetics of the set up.
The team that greeted us were very friendly and informative. They gave us our exclusive day pass wrist bands and handed us activity booklets as well as a map of the Park and explained where to go, what to do and what to expect. The kids also received gift packs upon entering.
There were great activities on display for the football enthusiasts as well as for those who aren’t too involved but might want to give it a go. There were also arts and crafts for the kids, face painting, balloon modellers and an opportunity to have your photo taken with the FA Cup.
The boys absolutely loved their day venturing around the park, seeing all of the animals and exploring the football displays. On top of this, they met plenty of other children to play with. As a parent I was very impressed with how much the JG team had integrated sports awareness with a fun filled family day out.
Junior Gunners memberships are a great way for children to make new friends. There are a number of great benefits to being a member including access to reduced price tickets for first team matches, as well as various exclusive events, competitions and quizzes held throughout the season and it is the only way to win the chance to become a matchday mascot. The memberships are available from new-borns to 16 year olds, with prices starting from just £10. The memberships are tailored to suit each age group, offering different opportunities, prizes and benefits for each membership. For more information click here.
