Guess AJ’s Triathlon Time

A few months ago, I thought it would be a good idea to enter the London Triathlon on 24th July 2017.

I was excited to have a goal to aim for. Something to inspire and motivate me to train and get in better shape.

I was wrong.

That just didn’t happen. However, I am still planning on entering the Triathlon. For 1 reason though…

To raise money for The Dad Network Foundation.

It’s simple.

All you have to do is guess what my finish time will be. The person who comes closest to my actual finish time will receive a bundle of Dad Network Merchandise.*

For those of you who don’t even have a ball park to play in, here’s some info on what I’ll be doing.

Olympic distant triathlon:

Swim = 1.5km

Cycle = 40 km

Run = 10 km

The world record time for this distant triathlon is: 1 hour 39 minutes 50 seconds.

The winner of last years London Triathlon (amateur race) finished in: 2 hours 00 minutes

The average time for amateurs is: Well, I don’t really know but… according to 220 Triathlon Magazine, for an amateur, anything under 3 hours would be considered as good, meaning that must be about average. According to last years results, the median time was around 3 hours 39 minutes. That gives you something to work with :)
