Father’s Day with Not on the High Street

0

Father’s Day is right around the corner and I imagine that many of you will be either wondering what your partner will be purchasing for you (if anything…) or wondering what to buy for the dad in your life!

Like all the annual occasions that beckon the need for some kind of gift to show love, appreciation, and thanks, Father’s Day can be tricky. I mean, it seems like socks are the go-to present for men. Which is why we tend to get some new ones for Christmas, our birthday’s AND Father’s Day…

Well, wouldn’t it be great if, for this Father’s Day, you gave, not just an original gift, but also one that genuinely showed you knew that person inside out?

Well, we’re celebrating Father’s Day with notonthehighstreet.com this year, to do exactly that; find you gifts that demonstrate that the ‘giver’ really does know the person they’re giving to.

This evening, I’ll be hosting a live stream from Not on the High Street HQ on their own Facebook page at 8pm GMT answering your questions to help you find a unique, thoughtful gift. I’ll be joined by their resident gift guru, who I’ve been told is an expert on all 280,000 products that Not on the High Street sell. Well, almost all anyway…

But ahead of tonight’s, live stream, I wanted to share with you some of my favourite products from Not on the High Street to get your ideas flowing.

Portable Firebox Pizza Oven

This portable firebox pizza oven basically means you can cook delicious pizzas on your BBQ!

Amazing! I’m so excited about BBQ this summer, so I’d love one of these!

£84.99

Gent’s Single Watch Stand

This is a lovely present for a dad who likes to keep things organised.

Not like me!

Mind you, I would still love something like in the hope it might help me keep track of my watch, wallet, keys, phone etc.

£25.00

Leather Wash Bag

There’s something about leather products that I absolutely love. I think it says ‘quality’ to me. I also love the link it has to
that traditional feeling of being a man. This particular product also have personalised initials.

£45

Case Of 12 Best Of British Beers

You can’t really go wrong with beer, but this would really show those beer-loving dads that they’re loved.

£38.75

Personalised ‘The Day You Became My…’ Key Ring

You don’t get much more personal that the day you became a dad – so this could be a really special gift.

Plus, it’s amazing quality – if I were going to have a key ring, I’d want one that looked like this!

£14

Make Your Own Chorizo Sausage Kit

I don’t think I need to say much about – if dad loves food, cooking and Chorizo, there’s not a better gift in the world!

This is also great for those with a lower budget and this is something that dad can do with the kids!

£14.50

Urban Beekeeping And Craft Beer Experience For Two

One thing you can do to show someone you really know them and love them is give them memories.

Experiences, like this beekeeping package for 2, will do just that. Something that isn’t your run of the mill experience, but
something that will stay with him forever. For those dads who love the outdoors, wildlife and honey!

£64

‘Grenade’ Survival Accessory Kit

Perhaps the ultimate gift – this is a great gift for the dad who fancies himself as a bit of a Bear Grylls. Like myself… *ahem*

One hopes they will never have to use a survival kit, but none the less, we dads like to feel prepared for those occasions
that ‘might’ happen when we have to bring the inner James Bond out!

£20

‘The Horizon’ Portable Camping Stove

When we asked our Facebook page about Father’s Day, what they’d like and what they’re giving, so many mentioned the
great outdoors. So this camping stove will suit those outdoor dads to the tee!

I can’t wait to take Ted camping this summer, and this will be in our inventory for sure!

£89

Luxury Leather Hunter Flask

I said I liked leather and so this leather wrapped flask is right up my street. It’s sophisticated, yet practical. I also have a
wallet from Man Gun Bear and can vouch that their leather work is of the highest standard. Huge fan!

£105

Father’s Day is about showing dad that he is loved, appreciated and supported. There are so many wonderful ways of showing these things, but a thoughtful, original gift that really shows you know him well, won’t be topped!

Now, if someone could just share this list with Jen and give her a nudge nudge for me, I’d be most grateful!

Share.
